The location of the inn is absolutely enchanting, nestled in a picturesque village which is great for leisure walks. I appreciated the cozy atmosphere of my room, with charming wooden beams adding character. The staff were attentive and made sure my dining experience was excellent. the full English breakfast was particularly delightful. I did find the room to be on the smaller side, which may not be ideal for those with lots of luggage.

Historic architectural charm, Engaging social environment, Free car parking
Room sizes feel cramped, especially with excess luggage!!! The bar's limited drink options mean you won't find your favorites here!!! Poor mobile connectivity can leave you isolated, making communication difficult!!!

The hotel offered a stunning location, with beautiful surroundings that enhanced our visit. Staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. the room we were initially assigned was disappointing due to excessive noise from exterior equipment, which affected our comfort. Although we were relocated to a better room, the hassle should not have been necessary for the price paid.

My partner and I had an amazing stay with delicious meals and some lovely cream tea that felt like a special treat. We loved relaxing by the cozy fireplace and enjoying the charming garden area, which was perfect for unwinding. The room was a bit small for getting ready in the morning, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. Definitely try the cream tea! ☕

The Castle Inn in Castle Combe offers a charming experience with beautifully done interior décor and excellently maintained rooms. The staff was efficient and friendly, assisting with any inquiries promptly. Breakfast was impressive, featuring a freshly cooked full English using high-quality ingredients, which left a lasting positive impression on my stay.
The shower in the room lacked a shelf for toiletries, and there were minor inconsistencies with evening meals.

We had a fantastic stay in this charming village. The room was cozy with a lovely view, and the staff were friendly, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was a standout, with delicious options for everyone—even our picky eaters loved it!
In my wife’s opinion, a kids' play area would be great.

When we were having dinner, we even had some Morris dancers entertain us right outside the pub.
Sure, it wasn't exactly cheap, but you know what? It was worth it.

Charming Stay in a Picturesque Village
We loved exploring the enchanting village, especially the cozy tea shop with homemade cakes. Our attic room, though quaint, offered a warm charm. Be mindful of the mattress noise and dim lighting. If you dine in, the dinners are delightful—definitely try the local specialties!
